It has been a pleasure documenting Selina and Josh's wedding day at Flanesford Priory, a historical former Augustinian monastery set in the heart of the Wye Valley that they and their wonderful families and closest friends managed to fill with kindness, love and laughter all the way through. We journeyed through a world of music as soon as we arrived at the venue where Josh and a couple of members of his band, The Valves, together with his closest friends, were rehearsing the song dedicated to Selina - You should consider having sex with a bearded man - followed by a most interesting groom preparation session. Our journey continued through the beautiful Herefordshire countryside arriving in "the middle of nowhere", as Selina put it when giving us the details of her location. It certainly felt like stepping into another world, populated by all creatures big and small - dogs, parrots, pheasants, ducks, cats... oh, yes, and plenty of them as Selina's mother is running the all so idyllic Celtic Cattery. We knew from the first moment we entered their world that they all loved animals just as much as they loved each other. It followed a plethora of emotions that we've tried to document as vividly as possible.
We have been blown away by the naturalness, modesty and kindness of these two lovebirds from the first encounter and their wedding day only confirmed it. With their musical background and so much passion for each other wrapped up in such amazing friendships and support from their loving families, they are going to have a blast.
Dear Selina and Josh, it has been a killer experience, you have definitely nailed it! All the best in your new adventure and a lovely honeymoon in Thailand!
